Morning all,

So - off for the week to (hopefully) Sunny Torquay on Friday. In tow I have SWMBO and kiddies - Boy 5 and Girl 2. Suggestions, come rain or shine? Someone says the Zoo is good.

All help gratefully received.

Thanks

Try the Model Village at Babbacombe - not sure if they still do it, but they used to do a ticket where you can visit during the day, and then go back at night when the whole place is illuminated, well worth seeing both aspects if you get chance.

Paignton Zoo is worth visting, get a joint ticket to it and Living Coasts in Torquay harbour.

Paignton to Kingswear by chuff-chuff and then foot ferry to Dartmouth is a good day out too

Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, Dart Valley Steam Railway, Kents Caverns, Model Village, Bygones, Torquay Museum, Torre Abbey ,and the Torbay Flyer are worth a visit.

Travel a little further afield and get up onto Dartmoor and there is plenty to see - the old Granite Railway is worth tracing, Haytor, Dartmoor Prison, etc.

The weather at the moment is great, so no excuses!
