Classic car rental Milan

Mate is getting married on Thursday - needs a preeeeeeeeety car to rent in Milan for a week or so for honeymoon.

He's looking for something convertible and 60's or 70's, say a Giulietta Spyder, Maserati, Merc Pagoda.

Something classic and very beautiful required. Something "la dolce vita"



Budget not an issue.


Suggstions welcome please, there is not much time. Anyone done this?

Right then. When I said 'Tuscany' I actually meant 'The Amalfi Coast', obviously. Bit of a drive from Naples to Milan, but if he really does want la dolce vita, then...

Don't forget that a lot of the German classic hire companies will allow a car out of Germany, i.e to France, Italy, Spain, etc. Might even be less of a journey from Munich to Milan Vs Naples to Milan???

The comment about German classic car hire companies is correct - they may allow their cars out of the country, but you MUST tell them that you intend to do this as there may be a supplement to pay to cover insurance and/or breakdown out of the home country.
