Anyone know what's keeping the Stig occupied today? Sounds like a large capacity V8 from what I can tell in between tyres wailing.

They are doing a spot on a Merc SLS AMG versus a Ferrari 458 Italia.

Edited to add: They also have a feature on old British sports cars (Jensen Healey, TVR, Lotus).

Unfortunately, there's a wood, fencing and 'security' patrols to get past and as I don't have x-ray vision nor the time I thought I'd ask on PH as there have been posters in the past who work on the airfield. Alternatively, as you clearly have time to contribute with smart arsed comments, then I'd be more than happy for you to fill your day and go and look for me.

I prefer a larger car as a rental, make sure you book something decent. I'd be wanting first class flights as well. Let me know when all is arranged, and I'll OK the time off with my boss. Cheers!
