Has anyone used these guys before?
www.authenticwatches.com - I am looking for a watch for my wife and they seem to have been around a while without any alarm bells going off...

Never seen this site before so can't comment.

Depends what you are after, new or second I suppose and what country you are in. I like watches.co.uk, brittons watches, chronomaster is a simple site, with some nice watches depending on what you are after.

As soon as you type in 'Authenticwatches.com' into Google, it automatically assumes the next word will be 'scam', 'fake' or 'complaint' hehe That alone would put me off purchasing from them, especially as there are lots of other online watch suppliers who are genuine and trusted amongst many ...

Which watch are you after?

I don't believe you can be running a fraudulent business and still maintain all the business partners that they do (look at the bottom). They also supply watch seril numbers which comply with the manufacturers / gurantees and strong refund policy....

Type the address into Google and have a look at some of the topics that have been created in regards to www.authenticwatches.com - It looks as if they do sell genuine watches, but without the manufacturer's warranty and in a lot of cases, with the serial number on the watch removed. In essence, they are a grey dealer:

If you feel happy to spend money with them, then go for it. However personally I think there are a lot of other online sites that are more reputable and recommended on here more often who also offer the manufacturer's warranty with serial numbers!

That seems a bit rash? Surely after import tax the watch will be similar in price to Dominic's offerings with discount, which I'd jump at the chance of accepting, especially as you are guaranteed the manufacturer's warranty and serial numbers in tact.

It's your decision though, so let us know how you get on ...
