Tuscan at last for the luckiest guy!!!

I'm only 17 from Glasgow but i love TVR's more than the movie Swordfish. My dad said that if i manage to acheive 5 A's in my Higher exams, then he'll rent out a Tuscan for a day! Is that cool or what?! You guy's all have one anyone so youre lucky, but im so excited! problem is, my dad has not driven:
a) a Tuscan (strange handling i hear)
b) a manual car for nearly 11 years
c) a scarier car than the Tuscan
Is the TVR Tuscan a particularly challenging car to get to grips with?Is it easy to drive relaxed, without screaming to 100mph in no time?
He'll also have to drive 60 miles back home then back again to the garage! i dont wanna put dad in hell! just thought id let u know all that!

Try to find someone willing - sit in the passenger seat, and ask to be taken down a motorway slip road, (any TVR will do)...
If you fail the exams, then just save up... (like me, though i'm 36)

Please don't get both of you killed.
Please don't try to use the performance.
Take it slow, take the roof off and pose.
Ask your father if he would feel confident driving a Diablo, Ferrari 360, Ferrari F40.
A Tuscan has similar or faster performance than these.
Handling is tricky, IF you have not driven very power ful, rear wheel drive cars before.
NO traction control, NO ABS, VERY Powerful, rear wheel drive MANUAL car.
A heavy right foot, or a slightly damp road, in a low gear, could wind up with you both dead.
Take it slowly they are easy cars to drive normally.
The worst thing you can do is drive it like other cars.
People just learn to put there foot down hard, to accelarate (me nova, astra GTE, golf VR6, corrado VR6, there cars generally have more grip than power. do that in a tvr, will give you a problem.
Remember a tuscan has probably over DOUBLE the Power to weight ratio of a golf/corrado VR6(not slow cars in themselves for the majority of the public)
ME I'm a Griff 500 owner, who admits to putting his previous griff 4.3 in a ditch after 2 days of ownership, for most of the above reasons.)
They are not dangerous cars, BUT, compare them to commuting to work on a 125 cc motor bike, and then trying to drive a ducati monster fast, in the wet!!)
