Sorry if covering old ground but recently relocated to north-west London area, and not far from the Ace. Just wondering if there's a PH crowd going there on a regular basis?

Ace cafe website shows an event list too, so if you see something interesting you can always go down and have a look.

Also if your into bikes, going down at any time will probably give you something to look at.

Not being funny - how far is the Ace from the Regents canal? I live afloat, so would be cool-ish (me thinks) to take house/boat?

Boat being a bit more reliable than the TVR.... frown

Well, would have to navigate up to the Grand Union Canal, then turn right. The Ace is about 500 yards or so from the canal but, would take some time getting there in the boat I'd say.

Has one enrolled in the 'Come Dine With Me' show yet?wink

It's near where the Grand Union passes over the North Circular (which is quite interesting in itself) here. Maybe 6-7 miles from Little Venice.

Not sure how easy it would be for you to moor close by.

This.

I can't think of anywhere along that stretch of canal where there are suitable moorings.

From Little Venice, it would be easier to get train via Euston out to Stonebridge Park (10-15 mins or so) and walk the 5-600 yards to the Ace from the station if you fancy a beer....or just drive there if you don't.

Agree with above - I certainly would not leave a boat unattended along that stretch of canal.
Here is a map of the area. The Ace is equidistant between the canal and Stonebridge Station on the left-hand side of the A406. HTH.
