Goodwood track day 28th July
Discussion
Wow, what a strange contrast of track day after being on a Silverstone one the previous week. Goodwood certainly has a very different atmosphere to any of the other circuits with all the retro stuff and non run-off.
It meant the atmosphere was very relaxed, a limit of 10 cars on the circuit at once but I don't think even that number went on while I was there. Some strange cars there, including a Range Rover on circuit...! And a rather cool looking 1960s Mustang.
Noise testing was bizarre, I (and others) were getting readings much higher than I've had at other circuits, but luckily I still scraped in. Very fast circuit, a bit strange as to get a good lap you have to be really comitted to the high-speed stuff, but then there is no run off... so I don't think I got anywhere near the car's potential. Will post a few videos up in a tick.
