Tool set for classic car
Discussion
Its dads birthday next week and rather than buying him some aftershave/ socks etc I thought I would get him some tools to keep in the boot of his TR4 (rather than keep his snap on stuff in the boot that he never locks).
I was just wondering what sort of items I should be getting, I was thinking about a set of spanners (imperial) like Link to spanners but still have another £20 or so to spend so what else should I be thinking of? he has screwdrivers coming out of his ears so don't really need anymore of those!!

^^^^ is precisely what I use to fix the Landrover. I start at the small one & then keep moving up through various grades of persuader until the damned thing runs again. I've only needed to get to the lump hammer once.
As the old man is fond of saying "Don't force it, use a bigger hammer"
Seriously though, I've got one of these sets in the boot of my car along with one of these sets in the house, I picked them up Christmas time as I was sick of finding I needed whichever tool was missing from the sets I already had and I find them great. Obviously that first set won't be much use to you as it's all metric, but the imperial set should be up to the same standard and they've got the lifetime garauntee.
