Can anyone tell me how the downpipes seal to the rest of the exhaust, i.e gasket or exhaust sealant, i have a blow which needs to be sorted.

the manifold to silencer joints are iron rings which fit into the flanges, and which should be sealed when assembling with exhaust assembly paste, which hardens with heat.
