Continental airlines, any good?
Discussion
We have booked up our honeymoon to Canada through Thomas Cook. We were flying with Air Canada, which I was pleased about. We have now been told that due to lack of numbers the tour operator(Cosmos)has moved our honeymoon 7 days forward!(
s) So now we are trying to book to go somewhere the week after our wedding to fill that gap. Thomes Cook can fly us to New York for 5 nights, then get a filght to Canada on the day we start our proper holiday.
But we would have to fly to NY with Continental Airlines, found out it's a Boeing 777.
Has anyone been on that plane? For us this is a very expensive holiday, and I havent ever flown that far before, so would like a good plane to make the experience as good as can be.

I fly Continental quite alot as they offer two daily services from Manchester to Newark and it saves having to travel down to London.
They are American; Americans treat their airlines like a bus service, you get on, you fly, you get off.
They are functional rather than an out and out flying experience. As stated above you are only on it for seven hours, you get a meal and a snack and regular drinks, in flight entertainment is good. I've flown with far worse.
