Emirates Auto Museum

I find Arab car collections fascinating and here's one open to the public.

It contains the car collection of Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan - "The Rainbow Sheikh"

Possibly known by some as the Sheikh from Clarkson's Motorworld episode in the UAE. The guy who owned the Globe caravan and rainbow-coloured Mercedes.

Some of the vehicles look a bit neglected but I'd love a look around.

I used to drive past it on a weekend coming up to Abu Dhabi from Asab. It's in the middle of nowhere & looks like a dump, in fact its virtually opposite a rubbish dump.

Can honestly say I was never tempted to venture in!
