Bonnet Gas Strut upgrade - Fiesta Zetec S Mk7

Afternoon PH'world!

Just wondered if anyone had done this mod/upgrade on their Fiesta/Ford, I have previously done it on a VW Polo I owned and it worked well, just boughht the kit and fitted and hey presto...

Does anyone know of any kit made for the Ford to do this??

Also has anyone fitted an aftermarket strut brace to their Zetec/Zetec S, was it worth the cost and fitting??

I bought some bonnet lifters / gas struts for my mk1 Focus but never got round to fitting them. They were made by Redline Tuning and from USA.

Could you use gas struts from another Ford, say a Mk3 Mondeo, or from a boot of a Ford. No idea if this would work, its just an idea.
