A12 Single seat, built for and operated by the CIA

YF12 Prototype Interceptor built for the USAF. Two seater, only 3 built.

M12 Used for launching the D-21 Drone

SR71A Two seater built for and operated by USAF.

SR71B Two seater for pilot training.

SR71C Cut 'n Shut built from leftovers and by all accounts flew 'Orrible!

There were never that many built all told - around 50 including all variants?

15 A-12s two of which were modifed into M-12s

3 YF-12s one of which became the SR-71C

29 SR-71As

2 SR71Bs

The front of a static test specimen bolted to the back of a YF-12 and designated the SR-71C

Gives a total of 49 1/2
