I've just asked them to repair my Breitling SuperOcean. It suddenly started gaining 30 mins per day!
After and examination they say it just needs a service which will be £90.
It seems like a good deal, their website gives the impression they know what they are doing, I just wondered if any one here had any experience, good or bad, of them.

Cheers

My Tag came back from them this morning.

Very pleased with the quality of work, price and communication.

I'll definitely be using them again

Excellent find.

Im feeling slightly cagey about this.
Ive just called them. THey claim to be able to service repair my Ulysse Nardin watch, which is unusual because any repairers have spoken to in the past have refused. Plus they don't list it as a brand that they deal with.

Its very tempting because to get it sorted takes about 4 months with Ulysse Nardin (basically a tired bloke in a shed in Switzerland who works in his unique slow way)

Any more reassurances from unusual brand owners?

Did my Omega Speedmaster a month ago.... was sceptical myself, so dropped it off in person and picked it up in person ( so i could walk out if i was not happy)...... seemed a very busy professional set-up, very well organised and very ummmmm doctor surgery type set up.

Very impressed... watch serviced and regulated, an now keeps better time then when I had it new...... and ultrasonically cleaned and polished so it looks almost new.... was worn 24/7/365 x 7 years prior to service so v impressed... also testomony to quality of the watch build quality

Had the mechanism replaced on my black 10 year old Seamaster.
Satisfied all bar 1 item . . .

The replaced the black date wheel with a white one, although did keep the old one and when I called back sad that they'd replace it on the spot if I cared to come in.

I almost have. Unfortunately my Tag watch vanished in the postal system, Royal Mail had a record of it being checked in at the Post Office but have no record from that point onwards.

The envolope had 'Watch Doctors' on the address and I added extra insurance which kind of gave the game away to anyone wanting to snaffle it. Not ideal. However the assistant checked the address on their system as part of the process so they knew that it was going to a watch related company anyway.

Royal Mail were pretty good and paid up the full original purchase price but it was made easier as I had receipts and photos. It did take a while for them to do their 'investigation' though.

Well worth making sure you can back up the value of your watch with a receipt or similiar before you send it and make sure you have some photos!

Brilliant, good service and communication and only £90, which is at least £200 less than Breitling wanted.
