I have it on good authority from neilsfishing that the best bet is his DIY method of using a 3m length of 15mm copper pipe filled with ant powder/wasp killer powder connect one end via a ballofix lever handled valve to an air compressor,place in entrance to nest and let rip,the pros use a hand held pump and same powder.I have an old house and last year had 3 nests done at £40 a go,so will be trying this tomorrow,and will report back on my success/trip to causality!

Another PHer suggested knocking the nest down with a broom handle whilst being covered in jam as wasps hate jam.

Nest is under the flat roof of a 1st floor bay window,no acess unless I tear down the ceiling

Just get some Wasp Nest Destroyer and get up close, spray the foam over the nest and up the hole (they dont like it up em)

OK I'm up for this as there are 2 of them and I can think of better ways to spend £80 .. I've got a compressor and copper tube, what's a ballofix lever handled valve ?

Its a 15mm lever valve,I've fitted a 1/2 inch coupler to 1 end then a 1/4 reducer and an air line coupler,making it tonight so will take some pics then.

If reachable, you could try a hoover with or without a removable bag. The foam type stuff works ok but can be a bit messy. Alternatively , leave it a couple of months and hack it down in the Autumn/Winter.

Definately get a 10/10 for creativity, but dont know if it will catch on as being very portable though? LOL
