Air con regas

I think my aircon is in need of a regas. I'm assuming there is nothing unusual about the system fitted to the T350? I don't really want to have to take a long drive back to the dealer I bought from or another TVR specialist if I can avoid it.

Natural aircon is great with the targa panels off, but I've had to make a few long motorway drives recently where the roof on is a little more comfortable (well at least it would be if the A/C was running a bit better!)

Can anyone recommend a good A/C specialist in the East London area? I've read some recommendations about these guys down in Northfleet - http://www.ac4cars.co.uk anyone have any experience here?

Kwikfit get good reviews and cheap too and any garage can top up the gas that carry out that service.

Kwick-Fit point blank refused to re-gas the 911 Turbo.... Imagine their heads exploding when you bring a TVR in?

Kwik fit did my Sagaris.
You may need to let them know what quantities it requires.

Sag took 750cc Refridgerant and 60cc Oil.
I would think all speed sixes would be similar,unless someone knows different.

Just had my Sag re-gassed and system checked over. Took around 850cc as i remember.

if any a/c needs "regasing" its because theres a leak. meaning that its only a matter of time until ur forging out for another regasing unless the leak is found and repaired.
also topping up a system that is leaking is illegal and the engineer/mechanic can be fined heavy.
ur tvr mechanic would know the usual leaking points.

Ric mine had a small leak on one of the connectors, took it back to kerridges, and all sorted. Bloody freezing now, had to turn the blower off full for the first time today!
