Rear Coilovers....
Discussion
Been happily blatting about all over Herts and Enfield and have come to the conclusion I need to dump the cheap Armstrongs on the rear and finish off the coilover coversion for my car. Just interested to see if the the rear coilover conversion has changed the handling/comfort compared to your old setup....
Hi Andy - yes the front mounts were chopped out and a new set fabricated to take the fronts with a direct attachment to the upper and lower mounts without the need for a bracket. The setup works brilliantly and is very east to control except this has exposed how bad the rear set up is with those cheapy Armstrong things that I also had on my old car which you now have!!
I'm going to get the rears done regardless and would not recomend the route I have taken unless they have been forced into it due to unforseen circumstances such as the ones I experienced!

Hi GV what are you going to do to the back, I went the SH route for my coil overs, do you have any photos of what you had done to the front.I'm going to get the rears done regardless and would not recomend the route I have taken unless they have been forced into it due to unforseen circumstances such as the ones I experienced!
