We are looking for recommendations for a clean family friendly site in Yorkshire.
We haven't camped for about 12+ years and now have a family 3 boys age 18 months, 6 and 8 years. I picked up a rather big Khyam tent last night going to buy the rest of the kit tomorrow.
But where do we go, want to stay in either Yorkshire dales in North Yorks moors.
Must have clean wash facilities and some sort of play area where a game of cricket or football can take place.

Have a look at either the "Caravan Club" or "Camping and Caravan Club" web sites, they will accept non-members with tents, but are likely to be heavily book for the coming weeks. Both have excellent facilities for families.

Don't often see the words 'Camping' and 'Yorkshire' in the same sentence.

We used to always go here as kids http://www.masonscampsite.co.uk/Welcome_.html

It's basic but there's a shower/toilet block, a field to play in, a river at the bottom of the campsite and 2 pubs within a 2 minute walk. They do get busy though.
