Travel insurance recommendations?

I've had quick look on money supermarket, but the small print has defeated me!

I'm off away for 8 days in Turkey, and I can't find any travel insurer with a decent limit on single items - they all seem to be stuck around the £250/500 mark. Clearly if you travel with a laptop, nice camera or anything else vaguely valuable you're going to need more than this for a single item. Can anyone recommend a company with a £1,000 single item limit?

Your home insurance policy & add designated items on as "all risks" items, perhaps?

Can I get stuff covered on my home policy? Interesting - I'll have to give them a call and see what they say! Cheers.
