Brown condensate in gauges
Discussion
Just uncovered the Chim after 5 sad days of rain and noticed that the oil pressure, petrol and temp gauges are now almost fully obscured with 'orrible brown stuff.
They were clear before.
And before you ask, yes - it's on the inside of the gauges (one of the first things I checked after leaving my 3 year old inside the car to play whilst I cleaned her up).
I looks like possible water condensation washing out something in the gauges as one has brown "tide marks" or some condensate???
Clock, speedo and tacho are fine.
Any ideas? Can the gauges be removed and cleaned?
PS - spotted Blue Chim travelling between Godalming and Haslemere on A286 approx. 2pm
Managed a quick wave
