Tomorrow I'm heading North to Derbyshire and have decided to take the TVR. I've cleaned it, checked it and tomorrow morning we'll be heading off with the nav pointing us along the way (half on the M1, the rest on more interesting roads)

I can't wait smile I love having a car that you actually look forward to driving.....be nice to stretch the Chims legs too

I'm in Warwickshire next week.

It's at least a 6 hour drive for me.

I'm not sure we wnat your type up here. It was peaceful until you turned up, etc etc

So, time for the F1 museum at Donington?
Pop into Bruntingthorpe to see if anything's on?
Hang around MIRA and see if anything interesting is being driven to/from the facility in full camo?
Then there's Caterham Midlands, Norton, Triumph, Noble, Ultima, Fenix etc etc
Just off the M1 is the HQ of Corgi cars. You can tell its their offices: the car park is very, very small biggrin

Derbyshire? That's that place you drive through when you're halfway to London isn't it? The weather looks bad tomorrow - rwd TVR on wet back roads? I deeply envy you.....

Go on then (thread highjack risk here!) - where is the North/South line?

  • Hull is North - my accent tells me so wink

Edited because I've drank a copious amount of Stella and can't spell
