MNR R1 at the Nurburgring- vids

We have had the MNR back to the Nurburgring. It is a great experience to drive a car like it around a track like that!

I timed an 8.34min BTG lap. There is time to come out of that but I struggled with traffic. The car ran great and it was nice to be able to load it onto the trailer instead of driving it the 1300mile round trip this time!

Nice tidy lap. It was very interesting that the Elise completely left you on acceleration & top speed (and seemed to have the edge on corner speed). I wasn't expecting that.

We were checking the elise out that evening- it has "TT300" on the side and an audi badge is visable though the engine cover.

A 1.8T with 300bhp in the elise will make for a quick package. Well done to him for making it grip and handle also!

Brilliant, so glad you got past the GT3 - he was so outmatched on the bends
