Banned from forum but want to correct erroneous advice

I got banned from Biker Banter after my bro in law used my laptop and I was still logged in (Apparently, I posted a porn pic. I also "came out the closet" on Facebook that night too...).

Meanwhile, a thread about provisional licence entitlements has incorrect advice from Otter Smacker which could potentially lead to someone riding a bike they are not entitled to.

Can anyone correct it for me?

A 17 year old is not allowed to ride a 33 BHP bike until they have passed their theory test and both parts of their practical test.

As a learner, they are restricted to 125cc's and 14.6 BHP.

The list of 125cc bikes putting out >14.5 but <33bhp that don't live on race tracks is pretty much limited to the Aprilia RS125 and the Cagiva Mito as far as I am aware. To be honest, all of them that I have seen so far were derestricted anyway.

Glad the information found it's way there in the end, your forum ban expires pretty soon anyway, so you'll soon have full access back.
