Ive just spent the last 30 minutes writing stuff on some paper, trying to get my handwriting to look how id like it to, and i just bloody cant frown

Ended up stabbing it and throwing it in the bin, looks like im destined to write like a spastic, looks like a bunch of up and down lines.

Im also constantly getting the letters in words the wrong way around, trying to type/write ones at the end before ive done the first ones, so fecking annoying, its not that i cant spell, i just do it for some reason.

Should i just be put down?

It's Friday night and you're trying to write stuff down.

You've already taken a wrong turn my friend.

I got some proper milk bottles from the 'olde' sweet shoppe in Lincoln today. You can tell its genuine, as they misspell it and always add an e. ANYHOW, I went in and asked for the milk bottles, and the guy looked at me, then leaned in a bit closer and said "you want the... powdered ones?"

I was thinking I had bought some sort of secret drugs, and to be fair they were 30p/100g more, but I'm still feeling pretty ste so I've obviously not had enough.

Boring story, but I'm stuck in a boring town, in a boring house on a boring friday night in alone, so you can all revel in some of my boredom.

My handwriting is ste, unless I actually think about the order of the words in a sentence, I usually get distracted and start adding letters, not helpful.

edit: Penny best be on about the bloody sweets.

Are you me?

I've been told that the nerves between my brain and my hand are a little bit spazzy. My brain runs faster than my hand can write, which is where some of the swapped letters come from.

I can type much faster than I can handwrite, but was given extra time in my A levels because I had to use a computer biggrin

I can type mega quick on the computer too, and can speak quite coherently fast, but have odd handwriting.

Penny - Dundee is a bit far for milk bottles! These ones are pretty good, we should have an exchange contest to see once and for all which are better.

My writing is st too. I blame technology, I rarely have to write things down, even my diary is a PDA.

I'm the same. They are classic signs of dyslexia. Don't believe all the people that say that people with dyslexia cant read or spell properly, I know alot of students who are dyslexic and one of them had an IQ of around 170.

I keep missing letters out of words when writing and I get writer's cramp after a minute or so.

Left handed (cack handed maybe) doesn't help.

I hate meetings where I have to write on a board as it makes me look like a spaz.

Thankfully my typing's better and I can make full use of the backspace key.

Left handed here as well and I find my hand really aches quite quickly if I have to do any prolonged writing. It's generally got more untidy the older I've become.

More to do with typing these days rather then writing I think. As an undergraduate I could write neatly and quickly for one-hour lectures and three-hour exams with no aches at all. Now I can type quite well but can't write spin

Agree with this. I'm dyslexic but I can usually tell mistakes when looking at them. Quite often I will miss out words/ letters when writing. Spelling when speaking is also not great, so it helps when I write it down. I think doing a lot of reading when I was younger helped a lot.
