Is a discount a filthy word these days. Is 10% off list achievable? The car ive configured comes in at 42k. By the looks of used car prices id say they dont discount at all. Any advice welcome. Thanks

I very much doubt you'll get anything like 10%.

If its a retail sale from a franchised dealer I suggest you'll be doing well at 4%.

I recently placed an order for an estate, the dealer offered £1500 when pushed but openly admitted they couldn't compete with the best internet quote. I would imagine the coupe is subject to similar margins.

I am currently waiting delivery (expected September), but on first impressions the company I used have been very good so far. I hesitate to recommend them on an open forum until the deal is complete.

Regards, Neil

Agree with whats been posted above, we've had a very small allocation of Coupes/Cabs this year and a lot are being snapped up by exporters taking advantage of the weak pound and also willing to pay list for anything they can get their hands on! Even getting 4% off of one is good in this current market I would say. Although if you have no luck at all feel free to drop me a PM and I'll see if I can help!

go in a few days before the end of this month and just see if they have any in stock might not be the exact spec as the one you want but if you have the funds or finance in place you might get a good deal on one with dealers trying to hit there targets.

www.coast2coastcars.co.uk were doing around 8% off an E350cdi coupe recently and they supply through a main dealer, but agree with the above, due to such high demand and high expected residuals the contract hire deals beat buying cash, unless you keep you cars for 10 years or more of course.
