Does anybody know the correct Diff Oil for my 1992 4l Griff. The Bible mentions Mobile SHC80W-140ID, but i think this could be for the later model.
Thanks

use any known brand 80w lsd oil.if you cant find one, then an 85 or 90w oil should still be ok.personally i feel its more important to use diff oil which is lsd type and of as high a spec rating as poss, say gl5.if your stuck for a supplier, then demon tweeks sell an sae90 limited slip oil.

Phone the technical dept of Millers Oils Tel: 01484 713201. Their chemist is keen on competition cars apparently and they are very helpful - they will tell you what you need. They will be able to tell you where to get the oil local to you and better still, they don't sell it in 20 litre containers like Mobil.
Hope this helps
Tony
