Disneyland Paris
Discussion
Hi All
I am going to Disneyland Paris In late November for 6 days with friends, All park passes and breakfast are included I am just wondering how much spending money to take and how expensive is it there?
We are also going into Paris, Would anybody recommend any attractions there?
Finally, Whats the weather like in November... Snow?
Many Thanks
Ben

Horrifically overpriced.
There's a little supermarket in the station at the park entrance, use that instead and save yourself a fortune (they've also got proper food in there, not the fast food that is ubiquitous in the park.
Buy large bottles of water in a supermarket, take them in and fill up at the rare fountains.
Actually, if it's not too late - get a refund and don't bother. This is not the USA!

I went in february for a long weekend in the s
tty wet coldness and i had a brilliant time, youll have wicked fun the tower of terror is great, the aerosmith roller coaster was the best and the stunt show was pretty good. Food wise the park will seriously be about 8-10 quid for a burger and chips and the other places there only get more expensive, i felt so bad for a young family, they got about 6 meals and my heart broke for him once i worked out it was nearly 80 quid. Some of the restaurants outside arent too bad, an american style diner does good breakfasts and there is a rodeo type spit and sawdust restaurant that does a buffet which was good. Drinks will be 2 quid ish a bottle. Paris is steep, but the metro is cheap. It will be quite pricey but there is plenty of fun to be had so enjoy it.

My advice on grub would be to go for one of the half board options. It depends which hotel you are staying in as to which of the optins you can take. That way a lot of your food and eating costs are taken care of before you go, because as others have mentioned the counter stuff is expensive with the lousy X-rate.
Then book a sit down table service lunch in the better restaurants so you can get a rest during the day. You'll have filled up with a good brekkie so a late sit down lunch works wonders, and then if you need something else an evening snack in the park or bar snack in the hotel works.
If at any time you want to go into a restaurant that is not covered by your half board plan then you can use the vouchers at face value and top up. But DP ain't cheap, oh no.

When we were there ( Newport Bay last year ), everyone we saw at Breakfast were making sandwuches, getting fruit, yoghurts etc ie making lunch to take to the park with them. Not surprising, as three hotdogs and two small bottles of water in the park cost me 18 Euros.
I think France is very expensive anyway at the moment ( was there a couple of weeks ago, was really surprised how much things cost ) however at Disney they really do know how to charge.
