I have now seen at least 3 times an older lady (at least 70) getting out of of a Focus ST3. Not your average shopping trolley is it? The 1st time I saw her I thought that perhaps it was her sons and she had borrowed to pop to Marks's but I've seen her a few times in it now and a couple of weeks apart.

Whats the most unlikely car/driver combination you have seen? A vagrant getting out of a Veyron perhaps?

Young man climbing out of a lightly smoking Triumph 2000, it's a 'Grandad car' for chrissakes! Yes OP I get your point entirely. I saw an old couple burbling through Warminster in a Focus ST. I like to think they indulged in a spot of fast driving...

At Supercar Sunday there was a very nice XJ220 driven by a middle aged lady. At Kimbolton there was an extremely nice Dino 246 GT driven by an older lady. Never make assumptions!

I like to think they have no idea what they bought and there's a ford salesman somewhere who can't belive his luck.

I just looked at your profile Triumph man. I live very close to Warminster and I am very sure I have seen your car around that area before

Back in 2002 I was a salesmen for BMW a retired Priest (long time retired about 75-80 years old, with various trouser stains) came in and bought a used 318ti SE Compact.

His part exchange?

Honda Civic Type R.

They hadn't even been out that long and were still very much every boy racers wet dream.

Most unlikely driver/car combo I have ever seen.

I have to submit myself. A year or so ago, I had a 1984 Mercedes SEC 500 auto.

I am 27, look very young for my age, male and have long hair!

I have seen it many times on the 350, always nice to see a classic actually getting used.
