Brilliant hehe

The grey / silver ones seem to either have a different set-up to the others or attract a certain owner.

Proof that AWD is not the panacea that some think it is.

I think its more a case of idiot drivers who when it starts to even slightly slide, let off the power and hold on for dear life lol.

Some of those appeared to have quite a bit of money thrown at them, which helped a lot tongue out

Following the 2005 Tsunami, there was a bike track day at Sepang to raise money, lots of people wo were new, so frighting my mates and I paid the money as a donation and stood on the pit wall, there were several red flags, for people stopping to help mates in the Kitti, but the best was a guy who missed the pit entrence (which is on the apex of the hairpine betwee the back and start straight) and did a u Turn on the start line went back up the start straight the wrong way, it is fairly easy to see 150mph at the strt straiht, scared me on the pit wall God knows what the guys out there did

Was spectating a follow round, for the novices with not a lot of track experience to learn the basic lines before going out hot, some idiot copying someone ahead of them doing a weave to warm their tyres.

Weaved too hard, forcing themselves into a pseudo tank-slapper, and went face first into a wall down the main straight. Absolute tool.

A few years ago a mate of mine was recovering from a broken ankle and he turned up at our Cadwell Park trackday with his wifes 50cc scooter for a pit runaround and the strictest instructions not to borrow any bikes and go on track.

I have the pics of him riding round in the 'slow' group. biggrin Looked very funny indeed - even the marshalls were taking pics.

At Donnington park in 2003, RS owners club national day.. Lots of nice Cosworths and other machines out on track.....

Down the back straight comes a moonstone blue 3 door Cosworth, really shifting. As he brakes hard for the start/finish chicane, the back end steps out, wiggles a few times and spins... The crowd are already cheering, but the driver keeps his foot hard in, so the car is now going backwards with smoke bellowing off the rear tyres. As it stops going backwards, still on the Tarmac, the driver flicks the car into two perfect donuts, wheels still pouring smoke off, and drifts off perfectly up the straight off for another lap!

There were no other cars around him, and I later learnt he got black flagged for it, but it was the best spin/ recovery I have ever seen I think, he got a huge cheer from the crowd anyway!
