A few years ago I sold a car via Sale or return and it was a good experience so I am asking this question from a positive experience of using this service but would like to know what the views are from people who have been on the buying end of this service as well as what this service does for prices?

The way I see it at the moment is that it helps to keep certain types of car prices inflated and from actually selling. I used SOR because I didnt need to accept what the dealer was offering me and believed it to be a type of car that people are not happy buying privately which is probably close to why everyone uses SOR.

Now I'm looking at a few different brands of cars and am aware that some are SOR. They seem to be specialist cars and a lot across the different brands have been hanging around for ages SOR and dealer owned. The cars I'm looking at are depreciating every month but I think the SOR cars are not helping the valuation situation and leading to selling of cars.

I can see it's difficult as from the 3 sides involved 2 sides will definitely benefit from a SOR but will the buyer?

This is not an advert for a company called SOR!! :-)

Sorry to have to ask, but what is SOR, I did a google and didn't return much luck.

Is it something very obvious and my hangover is blinding me?
