Newb after some advice

Hi guys

Ive been kicking around PH for sometime but im new on this forum. Ive just returned from a driving holiday around the Alps having failed to buy a watch (exchange rate not good etc etc)
I was looking at Breitling originaly (skyracer raven in black with steel strap or superocean heritage 46 in black with steel strap) BUT then I stumbled over this Tag


Its differet which I guess is why I like it. went out to purchase yesterday but still unable to decide between Tag/Breitling or shop/internet

Also really need advice on buying from the net or from a shop. Ive found the Tag at watch33.com at a good price but have never heard of them. Its a lot of money to spend with a web site company I know nothing about.

Any feed back would be helpful

Personally when buying watches, I much prefer if I can to buy in store. I like the fact you can establish a relationship etc That's just my two pence.

As far as which watch, whichever YOU like. It sounds like you have made up your mind so the final decision is yours. Both are very respectable watches.

I agree, I've recently been in a similar position. I've just purhcased a Breitling Avenger Chronograph and had seen tempting prices online, but when spending that sort of money I'm happy to pay a little more for piece of mind and if you buy it from a reputable authorised dealer you may find that in the future when you want another watch/engagement ring etc you may get a good discount.

BTW, I got a 14% discount in store!
