JE Engineering TDV8 Re-map

Hi Chaps,

Just to say that I was up at JE the other day and had a TDV8 remapped for a client and the outcome is amazing. I have had several TDV8's remapped by another 'tuner' and I have to say that the JE remap felt incredibly strong. The midrange thump is extraordinary and you have really do not have to push the car anymore to make the same progress.

Also on a motorway run the fuel economy has increased by around 10%..........If any of you are thinking of doing it....stop thinking!!!

Just thought I would let everyone know as I reckon they are the best in the business.

Thanks for that - I am just about to pick up a 2007 TDV8 and was thinking of having a JE eng remap - how does the gearbox work/change/cope with the big increase in torque ?

The other thing I am a little nervous about is the long term effect on the engine/transmission - has anyone had this done for a while ?

I have been doing re-maps to clients cars from them for over 4 years. Never had any issues at all.

The gearbox is fine with the extra torque.....seriously every TDV8 should have this done. A real treat!!!

Hi, I have just purchased a TDV8 and having used JE in the past for engines was thinking about getting the re-map done. What has been your long term feedback from the upgrade? Thanks Mark

Still going strong. I have actually sold the car but to a good friend and we have had no issues what so ever.

Hi Bish, Yes that was mine, fantastic car still miss it, chap who purchased still has it.

With the Je re-map how has long term fuel economy worked out?
