Wanted: Maintenance Electrician/Fitter – London

Hi All.
I have been asked by my client to find a Maintenance Electrician/Fitter for a permanent role in London. Job Spec below:

The Role
•To service and maintain the company’s mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with the PPM schedules, specifications and manufacturers recommendations
•To carry out mechanical and/or electrical tests according to current regulations and legislation
•To work flexible hours, including night shifts and emergency response outside normal working hours, commensurate with the requirements of the role
•To comply with health and safety, contractual and operational requirements at the sites.
•To provide mechanical and electrical assistance at other Cory sites as required

The Person
The individual we are looking for will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and experience:
•An experienced and qualified electrician with appropriate certification to work with high-pressure hydraulic equipment.
•Previous experience of working with heavy plant and equipment is essential. Preferably at a transfer station or working in the waste industry
•Qualified to City and Guilds Phase III or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
•Willing to work shifts including regular weekend work
•Must have a full drivers licence: own transport essential
•Good communication skills with a flexible approach suitable to working within a multi-disciplined team
