Best places to look for build in kitchen appliances
Discussion
Mum's having a new kitchen fitted in the next month or so. She's got the kitchen designed and a good freind to fit the kitchen. But apart from Comets, currys and Costco ( the last being the best place for price with the american style fridge she wants.
So thinking with the help of the PH massive, could anyone recommend places to look for dishwashers, ovens and hobs and washing machines that I can have a look online and give her an idea of prices and such like. She likes the thought of built in WM and dishwasher. Both are needed as the WM is on it's last legs and she has never had a dishwahser before
cheers

TO be honest - I'd go to lots of kitchen design companies/showrooms etc to get an idea of what's available. Once you have that then shop online.
As a matter of interest - why not use the kitchen Co who are putting in the kitchen?
Try John Lewis or these guys http://www.kitchenscience.co.uk
Just google Kitchen Appliances - tons out there.

My cousin who's putting in the kitchen used to work for wickes and put in my kitchen. She's going for a wickes kitchen and they want £1700 just to fit it and the oven, hob etc. my cousin will do it for half that if not less. As for buying appliances from Wickes I have priced up some of their stuff and many of the bits are alot more expensive than say Argos for a hob and oven
Dear Simpo Two,

I'd quite like a kitchen that looks like a lunar module...
...Mrs Noise may not agree

But look much nicer IMHO.
So many otherwise-nice kitchens are spoiled a by washing machine sticking out that looks like a piece of lunar module.

Online, I have had good deals and service from www.appliancesonline.co.uk which is the same as Next appliances, Sainsbury's appliances and several others.
However as you are in the South West, you could do worse than heading over to the outlet village at Swindon and seeing what John Lewis have in their store there. Ideal for built in appliances as normally they have a dent on them somewhere which, of course, you'll never see.
