My father-in-law needs a cigarette lighter socket fitted in his Vauxhall Corsa, he dosnt have one at the moment but is looking to get a Sat-Nav so needs one (Apparently Ferrari F40's dont have one either!!!). He's got a hole for one but just has a cover over it.

Anyway, what's the best way of fitting one and how do I do it (What do I connect it to?)

Thanks Guys

Take the cap off and find out if there's an electrical plug underneath for the Lighter socket. (Might be pushed out of the way)

If so get the genuine part and plug it in.

If not, you'll need to find the circuit on which it is supposed to be wired or run a new feed from the battery (make sure to fit a fuse on this one!)

F40's don't have door handles!
