Wipers won't switch off! 200TDi Disco

Hi folks. Following taking my disco for a dip at pay and play yesterday, my windscreen wipers are broken. The function ok, on all speeds, however, when set to 'off' they still wipe on intermittent! Tried switching on and off, let it dry out etc with no luck.

Pulling fuse A7 stops them, but that seems to be wired to interior lights and dash lights so not long term fix!

Any thoughts?

Try finding the relay (use a Haynes Manual wiring diagram) and see if it has shorted itself closed due to water ingress.

You might consider moving to Ireland, you will need them on all the time over there.
