Sunday 8th August.....Early morning blast!!

Running my lovely wife to Edinburgh airport this Sunday (the 8th) for 0500 in the morning. While i'm up, might just go for a blast. If anyone want to meet up around 05.30-06.00 then let me know.

Was thinking just a couple of hrs somewhere on quite roads - although weather dependant. If it's pishing down, then i'm going home to my bed.

I'll be up running my good lady to the airport...it's not me that's nuts. Can't believe they are takers for this!!

Maybe that's the appeal....it's totally unsensible....hope it's dry.

Dunno about that, i normally pay a fair whack for a good muffin. Just hope Kenny's well stocked in Femme Fresh.

I reckon it'll be great to get out that early, nice clear empty roads and hopefully some cool, clean air for the cars to dine out on. Braw

Just piture it.. 4:45am, the sun's already up. You slip the key into the Vette, turn it expectantly and it burbles into life, you pull slowly out of the drive giving the throttle a couple of blips, you see a few of the neighbours blinds and curtains twitching to see whats going on, all they can do is go back to bed and cuddle in to a big hot bum, you on the other hand can hit the unusually quiet roads with the other insomniacs... are you convinced yet? there's also a free coffee and muffin! has to be worth a couple of hours sleep? or is all of the above just bks?

did something similar 2 years ago over the cairnomount as it decided not to go from 4th to 3rd mid corner... one of those, few that was close moments. but worth it to be a hero
