on the 31st october my mate crashed my bmw coupe into a telegraph pole and took it out with me a sleep in the back after a night out he ran off and the police caught me with the car i was drunk i luckily passed the breathalyser i pleaded guilty by post and took the blame, i never sent my licence off to collect the 3 points i payed my fine online,

on the 15th of may i went out and my mates said can you give us a lift home when i said when we got the car there was too many so he got in the boot big mistake as i just left the carpark the police came out of everywhere and dragged us all out the car. they said have u got points i said i had 3 and so they say good bye to your licence as i only been driving 1 yr 10months they looked me up and found no points. so they let me drive on. 1 month later they gave me a summons of driving with danger to passagers, i went to caught they said they would give me a 28day ban so was happy untill they looked up that i didnt have any points so they gave me 3 points and a £125 fine so i was happy untill it got 4 weeks away from the end of my 2 year period they sent me a revocation letter.?

Male, 36

Really? Going by that first post I would have put you in the 16-18 age group (at most).

Good luck getting an answer to your question, and perhaps you should stop driving like a tit then you won't have to worry about these things in the future smile

I suspect you have lost your licence.

Contact the DVLA or the court that deal with your case.

I suggest the latter in person or the use of spell and grammar checking programes together with a mate who achived a decent grade in English Language.

Seriously, not just saying it for the fun. smile

Don't worry, everyone's a critic wink

Seriously though I did mean all of that which I said.

That the DVLA seems to think you still have a licence is interesting. I would be sure to check it out 100% though and make sure that you get it in writing, keeping the same safe should it be questioned at a later date. Until then I would stay in a passenger seat as a conviction for driving without a valid licence or whilst disqualified together with no insurance will really piss on your chips.

The likelihood is that you have lost your licence.

That's probably a good thing. You shouldn't be on the road. You hang about with total morons who put everybody in danger.

If you want sympathy this probably isn't the website for it.

Bullst, you crashed your car, crawled into the back and pretended you were asleep, you didn't nominate you 'mate' because there wasn't one.

If you're going to be a dick you don't deserve a licence.

Perhaps that is the case, but when you are drunk to the point of taking a ride home in the back seat of your car with a driver who is drunk and smashes your car into a telegraph pole then you are not really making good decisions. To then take the blame for it is even more of a daft decision.

Then to be taken in by some 'friends' who get into the boot of your car is also asking for trouble.

My advice is go and see a solicitor and see if you can reverse the points associated with the crash if there were extenuating circumstances - for example if your friend said "plead guilty or I will take all of your teeth out with a hammer and pliers" that might explain the pleading guilty by post.

That might get you back on the road, after which point get the hint, drive incident free or you will never get to enjoy a decent car again because the insurance companies will price you out of anything other than a 1.0L Yaris.

I'm sorry but why plead guilty, they took a specemine of breath and it came back negative. why plead guilty to drink driving? if the test is negative then count yourself damned lucky and learn from your mistakes. also why did you not drop your 'friend' in it? if he's so much of a friend then he wouldnt have wrecked your car and fked off leaving you to take the rap.

three tips for you

1. re-evaluate who your friends are.
2. think about the consequences before you do anything stupid.
3. stop driving to nights out, thats what taxi's are for
