Brake light consequences

Aside from a warning that the handbrake is on, does the brake warning light signify any other facts?

I'm trying to work my way through the probabilities from a loose wire to low fluid...

Anything from the switch to low fluid and everything in between. Had the same on my Chimaera and it was the switch, somehow it had bent, and just needed a bit of persuading to go back from whence it came.

Oh boy. I think that may be a step to far for me unless I get very lucky!

I guess I can check the wires and fluid level and then send it off to get fixed if that's not it...

With Bryan's move from Fernhurst, I may be moving my allegiance to a new Indie near me for work, and curiously Andy is very close!

I could never, ever fault Fernhurst, the sales guys there are 2 of the best I have ever known and would not stop to recommend anyone to buy a car there.

However, MOT before last (with the Chimaera) Graeme told me in no uncertain terms, and I quote, "Of course next year it'll fail on the outriggers and that will be expensive". Andy got the next years MOT and the outriggers were fine. Read what you will in to that.

I share your respect of the Fernies chaps, and I had built up a good relationship with Bryan in the workshop. I don't know what their set up is now, but I am quite happy to use someone like Andy (assuming he kind find time!) as I am starting to try and really fettle things on the performance side. I understand that Andy has a lot of experience of that, and is probably better placed to help me.

Spot on.

Andy usually finds the time - given enough warning. No credit cards or loan cars though, but hey, that's the deal for better pricing.
