More details needed.
  • Maximum age?
  • Max mileage?
  • Type of driving?
  • Mainstream or alternative?

996 turbo

Or, R400 with a tomtom sellotaped to the dash. In fact, R400 with a tomtom gaffer tapaed to the dash. Don't want it coming off mid corner.

If you can afford the fuel, the M6 is a good punt though you should test drive to make sure you can get on with the SMG gearbox.

The sheer complexity of the thing would scare me stless, especially out of warranty. These are going to be a monumental money pit to keep.

ETA. Same goes for the M5.

Warranty is about a grand up to 60k miles, so buy one at under 30k miles and enjoy a few years of motoring and hopefully the car will have become a classic by then.
