Cosworth window problem..
Discussion
Ok, so the Cosworth is having a little sulk to itself - how can I make it feel better?
This morning the boot release (centre console) didn't work - 'strange', I think, and continue with a key. Then the passenger window goes down as requested - but no return journey is allowed.
I have checked the switches in the centre console (well, unplugged, replugged them, but haven't tried changing the window ones over yet), and have checked the fuses (fine).
So where do I go from here?
Cheers!

If it is like my Sierra's, I think the brushes on the window motors oxidise up. Normally this doesn't matter, but if you use the motor and it accidentally parks over a high resistance part then it refuses to budge. Try manually pulling or pushing the window slightly, just enough to move the motor a bit. Strangely, on Mondeos, the window motors are fine but the switches oxidise.
