Anyone form Melbourne Australia?

One of my daughters is going to Melbourne to try and find work as a Part 1 Architect as she has just finished the fiirst part of her 7 year ( read expensive) degree! She has decided this off her own bat although we have no connections over there! She has heard it is a nice city and thinks that it would be more interesting than getting a job in the UK!

Predictably like any dad, i want her to be secure get a good job in a respectable place etc. Anyone on here from Melbourne and have any contacts in the business? Or who may know of frims who take on Part 1 students?

Any help appreciated. She apparently is making her own inquiries but I am her dad....

She is coming over end Sept 2010 after attending a 6 week course in Shanghi which she was awarded by her own uni Dundee in Scotland

yes i do but last time i needed some help on a non petrol head matter i had a great and very friendly response!
I have an Espada auto and there is a garage in that area of Australia who looks after 5 autos!!!
I may get barred for non car matters but if I did would be lot of others following me!!!
