How the eck am I going to clean this?
Discussion
In process of buying my 'new' car which is an 1927 Vauxhall 20/60. It has the original Bedford Cord upholstery which I am keen to retain, but, it is very badly water stained which shows up badly on the beige colour of the fabric. Will the fabric cleaners from Halfords do the job or will I need an 'Pro' to sort it? Thanks.
Unless your running a full extraction wet vac machine, I really don't rate them for precision. Your better off getting a carpet cleaning company as there more then likely to use prochem extraction carpet cleaning machines. I use one for my customers cars for years and I find there the only machines that clean from top to bottom through the fabric, making them look showroom condition. Roof linings are fine with complete extraction machines unless there really old and knackered, for which they will shrink.
