1/10 scale bodyshell of Porsche 944 turbo wanted

I have a nitro RC car that i love, but the only bodyshell i have is a Mitsubishi.
My passion is Porsche and i would like to try and make a bodyshell of the 944 turbo to match my real car.
How could i go about making a 1/10 scale 944 turbo bodyshell as no one makes them. I remember vaccum forming when i was at school, but a wooden block needed to be made prior to forming the plastic over it.
Any ideas how i could make this work - without breaking the bank?

i dont know of anyone that has produced one that is readily available
but contact the guys at kamtec they are the biggest manufacturer of rc bodies in the uk and if you dont see it on their site they do say u can call them and they will see if they can produce it for you i know a few people they have done work for and they are good at what they do

You can use high density modelling foam to make moulds for vac forming. The easiest to work with is the blue stuff, but the yellow foam is harder and you will get a better finnish on the body with it, the red stuff is way too hard. Normal hand tools work well on it. Once you have your mould made, you need to find someone that will vac form it for you. However, you will need to do it twice. Due to the heat, the surface of the foam will melt slightly, deforming the inside of the plastic you have just formed over it. However, this means that the top of the plastic is perfectly smooth, if you leave this first layer on, vac form over this and you will get a perfectly smooth and nice body although it will be marginally bigger than the blue mould.
Once you have this mould with the first protective layer of formed plastic over it, you can literally just reel off 944 bodies, you could even start selling them. Profit on these is ridiculous. once you have all of your moulds and machinery, the bodies only cost a few pence to manufacture and they sell them for £20-£30
