do not know if yours are sealed type

What about the surrounds. Every time it gets a bit damp (as it does a fair bit round here), they get pitted and need a good clean. Any stainless ones around?

Two specs of headlight rings the cheaper version chrome on steel the better quality are chrome on copper.

I got Stainless surrounds and made the "tab" from a stainless jubilee clip instead of bean can... works a treat and no sign of corrosion after nearly four years of persistent rain

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I bought a pair of the RatSport surrounds. Very nice they are, but the drivers side one is just a tiny bit too big. They obviously can't be screwed in at the bottom, so any tips on how to secure it please?

Not sure what you mean - can't you add a little bit of L shaped metal at the bottom then?

My thought is you could drill a hole through the body under the headlight where the original mini screw hole is to poke a screwdriver up from below and fit the screw mini style, not sure if the water going through the hole would be an issue with the fibreglass though.

They are actually different sizes ???

I know, it's very odd. Doesn't matter which way round they go, the one on the driver's side moves around a bit. However, they do look good. I'm not sure about screwing through the fibreglass. As I have a few jobs for Dulfords in the Spring that's one to add to the list I think. Thanks.
