Can't get cups or 888's what else would you recommend?

From other thread can't get toyo 888's or michelin cups, so what else would you recommend? 85% dry running on circuit max grip required, medium wear, wet driving home capability, v little wet circuit driving, prefer to stay in garage ;-) car 1270kg 993RS running 285 30 18 rear 225 40 18 fronts. Leaning towards yoko at moment from responses to other thread. Cheers John

Kumho V70 could be another option - I was going to get these before I managed to get hold of some R888s. I've heard they work quite well on a 964/993, and last longer than R888s particularly if you go for the hard compound.

Sounds like similar sizes to my car (996TT) I use 295/30/18 and 235/40/18 fronts - the fronts are used as the 225 are not available in my tyre choice which is the Pirelli Corsa System - they are very very good, and have a decent amount of tread which is handy!
