which jobs website?
Discussion
Hi,
I am going to be in the market for a job soon, I have already been dabbling with the likes of Monster and Jobsite plus a few specialist industry websites. The sites like Monster seemed to be plagued with jobs that I doubt exist from agencies.
Are there any good sites that do not suffer from the problem of fake/ghost jobs?
In case you were wondering why fake jobs are being posted, it is just a CV harvesting operation by the recruitment companies so that they can boast that they have a good pool of candidates.
It makes searching for a genuine job very frustrating, even more annoying when the agency's concerned are a bunch of frauds!
Cheers

There are loads of good job sites, but I reckon most will suffer from some ghost/phishing jobs.
However you havent said what you are looking for, so how can a job site be recommended to you if you only mention business and development in you profile?
Where you located?
Are you in an industry were you could use a recruiter instead?

grapevinejobs.com is very good for media jobs in general.
Brand Republic for marketing specifically.
Linkedin seems to be getting used more and more to bypass recruitment agencies. If you're not on there then might be worth setting a profile up.
Thanks for the suggestions, was already aware of BR, nothing on there or the one you suggested sadly that matched my search for role and location etc.Brand Republic for marketing specifically.

NMA is a good site as it lets you filter down quite nicely, sadly nothing there at the moment but I do check back quite often.
As for the other one, I cannot find a way to drill the location down a bit, South East England is a bit vague when they include places like Milton Keynes which is actually up norf! :-)
I think the hunt will take a while sadly, I am not being that fussy, I am happy to drive around an hour each way and fairly open minded on salary but I also needs to be economical for me to travel there in the first place.
