Tyre Sealant to protect against punctures

Anyone tried this product from Protex ?. Looks like a better alternative to the emergency 'get me home' stuff in a can.

Treatment coats the inner tread area and is claimed to provide a permanent protection against punctures for the legal life of the tyre and is speed rated up to 150mph (they will do Z rated tyres as long as a disclaimer type document is signed).

Cost somewhere in the region of £50 for a car, also ok for motorbikes.

I had some (different brand possibly)in my mountain bike and got a small thorn punture. Sealant didnt work at all and just made a horrible mess of everything.

It remains liquid inside the tyre and is supposed to seal any holes upto 6mm when they are made.

I think the stuff works and the likes of the army have been using it for years, saw something like this tested on Top Gear?, and was very effctive, over a bed of 6 inch nails.
