Recently had new pads all round on the 360. The resulting brake squeal is AWFUL, to such an extent that it has totally ruined the enjoyment of driving the car, completely drowning out the noise of the engine when slowing for corners and as for town driving....

It gets much worse the faster you go and the hotter the brakes get. Took it back and was advised to stand on the brakes a couple of times (they have been properly bedded in already). All this did was heat them up and make the problem worse. Previously there was no noise whatsoever.

Totally hacked of with the thing at the moment, just having got in from a drive has not helped frown . Thanks in advance for any replies. Cheers.
(I tried a search but the function wasn't working)

Mine has had that since I bought it. i've only done 3000 miles. It's going in on Monday for new pads. Hopefully that will sort it out.

When you had the new pads were they the same type? i thought pads were meant to squeak when worn, not when new anyway.

I agree it's very annoying.

It was putting new pads on that caused my problem, the old ones were fine, I don't know what the makes were unfortunately. Hope your problem goes away with the change.

Saw this on tv, squeel after new pads, turns out the discs needed skimming, might be worth having a look at them.

if they were Ferrari pads then I suggest you get them looked at. If they were aftermarket ones then I think that may be the problem.

I've tried a couple of different pads on mine and always gone back to OE fitting, they perform well enough on the road and don't squeal unless you have really abused them.
