Helmet / Intercom problem

Hi

I'm just starting out doing trackdays and have purchased Sparco CLUB helmets and the Sparco RALLY intercom system.

Being the donut' that I am, how the hell do you fit the intercom into the helmet. I can figure the ear piece but how do I fit the michrophone? It has a hole at one end and comes with a screw, but the helmet does not have a 'corresponding' hole to screw the mic into?

Have I missed something simple?
